Founded by Bernd Mohnsame in Neubrandenburg in 1994, Zentral Archiv Service GmbH, abbreviated Z.A.S., can look back on more than 25 years of successful archiving. At an early stage he developed an efficient filing and registration system for the archiving and destruction of documents, initially for documents from lawyers, and later also for all conceivable sectors. In the early 2000s, the successful concept was extended to the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.

His personal life motto became the company slogan:

Today, Mr. Bernd Mohnsame works as a consultant for Z-A-S. The managing directors are Dr. Benjamin Bader, Norman Braun and Till-Martin Schuldt. The company has developed into a nationally operating full-service provider in the archiving sector. Around 40 qualified workers are employed within the transport, storage, security and management systems of all types of archive materials. Amongst our broad customer base are tax consultants, lawyers and insolvency administrators as well as many renowned companies and institutions from wide-ranging sectors.

We archive much more than just files and business documents including practically everything that needs a long-term and secure storage of information: From data media, films and photographs to laboratory samples and pharmaceutical retain samples as well as antique letters and museum exhibits.
