The Rhenus subsidiary Z.A.S. has focused on the pharmaceutical industry as an archive service provider for many years and in 2005 was one of the first archive service providers in Germany to receive the official GLP certificate in accordance with EC directives. Z.A.S. uses industry specialists as contact persons who advise customers on all aspects of archiving. We offer GxP-compliant, temperature-controlled and monitored archiving solutions for secure assets for your GLP, GCP and GMP raw data, e.g. from findings or (pre-)clinical research, in addition to business documents, study and regulatory documentation and digital data - securely and cost-effectively.

Z.A.S. globally organizes and manages the complete document/sample life cycle of your collateral for you, regardless of whether it was generated by you or your service providers. This service starts with the worldwide delivery of CROs or clinical investigators even before the takeover with the organization of professional transports, necessary import permits as well as transfer agreements. When the stocks are transferred, each item is barcoded and recorded in our archive system according to your wishes, e.g. on a study basis. Every movement from takeover to ultimate destruction is held in the archive system. Via our online portal, you have absolute transparency at all times about your sample and file stocks as well as digital data and can request security items, physically or as digital copies, or as a replacement scan according to GAMP5 if desired. Additional services such as refilling of wet specimens or microscopic findings are offered in our own microbiological laboratory. We accompany audits and inspections of our customers and also keep the associated documentation in compliance with GxP. Our services only end with professional destruction and disposal - strictly in accordance with legal requirements and within the Rhenus Group.
